It appears to me that the Republican Party is hell bent to push Marco Rubio or Bobby Jindal into the VP slot. Now, if they were to do that knowing that neither of those fine gentlemen qualified under the Natural Born Citizen clause as defined under our Constitution, isn't that illegal?
Two wrongs do not make a right.
Obama doesn't fit the criteria but look where he is...so, where do we go from here?

After all the frivolous ethics charges and lawsuits, the constant attacks from the left...it doesn't surprise me that there were marital problems. Sarah and Todd obviously never followed thru with a divorce so why is this even an issue?
I am constantly amazed at the unending attacks and I am even more determined to support Sarah Palin when I read crap like this.

The only ones who are making a big deal out of this are the left (do as I say not as I do) wing lunatics and ppl who are self righteous hypocrits.
Media needs to vet POTUS and ask him about Larry Sinclair and why none of his former girlfriends have ever come forward.....until then...STFU!

Mr. Moriarty, thank you for sharing your story. I can't imagine the pain you had to endure in your lifetime. I was married to an alcoholic for 18 yrs and his painful childhood almost destroyed him. He has over 12 yrs clean now and still struggles.
I was forced to have an abortion at age 16. They were illegal in 1969 so I was taken to a run down seedy hotel and left there by my aunt and cousin. They went down the street and enjoyed dinner while I was held down and without any anesthetic, my *doctor* stuffed gauze inside me and placed a clear plastic tube for drainage...then I was sent home and told to rest and take aspirin for pain. Two days later I was in the hospital with a horrible infection, surrounded by policemen. Since I had been warned to keep my mouth shut and I didn't want to get my family in trouble I accepted the blame. You would think I would be for legal abortion wouldn't you?
I have grieved for over 40 yrs. Wondered "what if" and prayed for forgiveness. I have long since forgiven my family for their decision on my behalf but have never been able to forgive myself for not fighting harder to deliver my child and allowing it to have a life.

What if one of Sarah Palin's children were gay? What if the Palin family embraced and loved this child without reservations and let the child *come out* publicly? Would the gay community then accept Palin? I think not...I truly believe the people who rabidly hate her would still rabidly hate her...

Glad to see you again Kevin. Sorry to hear about your illness and financial problems. A lot of us are struggling these days with health and financial stuff. You do have a support group here, even though a lot of the people that used to be active have wandered off and are now fighting the good fight in other ways. You always encouraged your readers to blog and get the word out and quite a few have done so.
The HB is not the same without you. The people who have continued to post have put forth a lot of effort and have continued to keep readers informed, however, no one has the same snarky way of putting the word out.
As for the costs of maintaining this forum...have you considered returning to WordPress to cut costs?
I hope all goes well for you and you continue to improve with your health and your finances. We still have a country to fight for...so Let's Roll! And...hello to all the former and current Buzzers! I don't come here as often as I used to ...but I do miss you all!
