What a great article! I write extensively about the Algarve, especially about food. I've written Gwen's Guide to Dining Well in the Algarve that focuses on Portuguese cuisine and restaurants owned and operated by local families.

This list is a fabulous resource. Are you open to me offering it on my blog site as a Guest Post? If so, let me know. I know my visitors would find it extremely valuable.

As much as I love grilled sardines, I must say that when I can get a nicely grilled Mackerel (carapau) I am in food heaven! Here in North America mackerel is almost always old and fishy tasting by the time we get it. So to get it served crisply grilled, with Portugal's famous boiled potatoes and a simple side salad is a treat that I long for between my many trips to the Algarve.

Thanks for a great post.

Thanks for such an honest post. I've been 'struggling' with developing a relationship with Facebook, both personally and professionally. This has helped me to become clear that Facebook plays a very minor role in my overall marketing process, especially the social media side of things.

I'm an avid (perhaps rabid) Twitter fan and have seen very clear benefits from it. And being an active participant in a number of LinkedIn groups has gained me a number of new newsletter clients. Facebook has just never seemed to work for me. Think I'm going to leave it that way until I have way more time and resources to devote to it.
