I pretty much cancelled cable back in 2005. I tried promotional cable services a few times, but there was so much noise pollution and so little good programming, that I cancelled each time after the promotional period. I do have an extensive video library, and I have a netbook that I can connect to my television to watch Hulu, Glenn Beck, etc.

Also, even Fox News didn't interest me because I already had all of the news from the internet, including Breitbart.com and just a few other websites. I just couldn't see spending so much time listening to the talking heads chew for 15-20 minutes on issues that I was already better informed on from a brief, well-written article on the internet.

When they start producing quality, conservative material, perhaps I'll go back to TV. What really shocked me was that the reason for paying for cable was to do away with commercials...most of the cable stations have far more commercials than network television did before cable.

Best wishes to all,
Gail S

Whether or not Rick Perry is the "real deal" is not important. He's the only person on the campaign trail who isn't afraid to fight. Hell, he relishes the fight!. We don't need a statesman or a genius, we need a warrior. This is a man who will take it to the liberals and Democrats fearlessly. Here and now, that is what we need. In all honesty, he's not my favorite candidate. There are others I "like" more, but Perry is a political gladiator and losing is not an option. When the dust settles, anyone can clean up the mess, but first we need to win and that is what Perry does.

That would be a good start, then how about canceling tax credits, and imposing a viable tax on the 47% to 51% of Americans who pay no tax at all?

With just a little searching, even this staunch opposer of taxes can find a few areas where taxes could indeed be increased.

I blame women. If they were properly submissive and you know, like good muslim women, men would not need to rape children to feel powerful, they could still be raping women, who after all are created for that purpose...just ask Jonathan Swift...

When is it going to be released, and when can I buy the video. I've been boycotting the liberal media, and I eagerly await every conservative movie that gets produced!

I started boycotting movies and television several years ago. I used to spend over $50.00 per month buying videos. Now, I limit most of my purchases to videos recommended on this site as conservative. I confess I temporarily have cable, but the movies that I've been seeing are mostly a waste of my time. I wonder how many other people stopped buying videos and watching movies for the same reason...liberal brainwashing. I had a pretty large collection before starting m boycott, and looking at many of those movies that I previously enjoyed, I see all of the liberal, socialist and communist subtext and I just can't watch them anymore.

Now, I read Breitbart and go to tea parties. If the entertainment industry ever gets back to its real job, perhaps I will start supporting them again.

Am I the only person who has noticed that the increase in obesity is parallel to the amount of no fat, low fat and low calorie foods we consume? Someone think the thought through. The more lowfat food we eat, the fatter we get. There is a biological reason for it. People need about 30% of their calories from naturally occurring fats. When they don't get it, they crave empty calorie foods like white flour and white sugar which the body cannot store as sugar, and immediately converts to fat.

Go back to old fashioned groceries and your wieght will be just fine.

We should never despair, our Situation before has been unpromising and has changed for the better, so I trust, it will again. If new difficulties arise, we must only put forth new Exertions and proportion our Efforts to the exigency of the times. ~ George Washington

This is why I use Yahoo...don't know if they are any more conservative, but you don't hear this kind of stuf about them. And if they ever do, there is another new search engine: startpage.com

It looks like de facto boycotts of movies and television are starting to have an impact. Sales, viewership and revenues are going down, and they are starting to slant content to what they think is conservative...of course since they don't understand, leftwing interpretations of conservatism are just as offensive as leftwing material. Now, let's stop using Google. There are alternatives.
