Choose wisely, people - you're still in charge of your real estate experiences. If you're not happy with your agent, FIRE him/her and get an agent who is responsive and ethical. It makes all the difference in your experience!

I hope none of the scenarios that we're preparing for ever become reality, but if they do, I'll have you to thank (in part) for helping me prepare my family. :) Thanks for what you do!

But what I'm most concerned with is the estrogen factor - I can't have any extra or I throw blood clots, which is not pretty. :( But I've managed to build a pretty decent FS in spite of not using soy and avoiding GMOs, for the most part. :)

I do get real cream from a farmer-friend of mine, and I'm darned close to making my own butter that way, so maybe I can get around the powdered butter, even yet. :)

You mentioned the butter powder reconstitutes & forms well in the fridge - how does it *taste*? We "use what we store and store what we use," so before I buy it, I want to make sure it will taste good. What's your family's verdict?

We currently have a group who are protesting similarly to the video and we see them as we head in to work every day. They have "statistics" on their signs (XX-number of babies saved, etc.), but I can't help but wonder how much easier it is to hold up signs than actually DO something like hold the hand and sit with people who are in pain, or work to change the adoption system in this country to make it easier for "unwanted babies" to have homes.
More importantly than any of that, though, is how we treat those who are making this decision and having "the worst day of their lives." I think that bespeaks more of how we love and serve Jesus and others than anything else.

Of course, right now with our adjustment to live in the desert, NO ONE is wearing jeans around here - I'm not sure that even in the throes of January we'll put on more than shorts/skirts and Birkenstocks! ;)

Seriously - I've had the same razor blade on my razor in the shower for the better part of 4 months. I used to dip the head of the razor in olive oil to preserve its sharpness, but that got messy and annoying. I just figured I'd keep using the same blade until I couldn't take it anymore.
The razor is used twice a week and never leaves the shower which means that the microscopic rust that dulls razor blades has a chance to flourish. :P I ran the razor up my arm yesterday 10 times and then proceeded to shave - it felt like a new blade! :D I was delighted!
I told my DH about it - he looked at me skeptically, but I think he'll try it the next time he thinks his blade is getting dull. We both hate spending money on razor blades, b/c the best ones are the 5-blade ones and they're never on sale or have a decent coupon to purchase them with. :P

I love your spirit and how much this is a unique calling - when we Christ-followers understand that Jesus transcends time & place & that His grace is bigger than our cultural understanding of what it means to follow Him, we'll be in a good place. Until then, for those who are critical, give some grace to those who do things differently and trust that Jesus is in the details (and not the Enemy).
Blessings & prayers from MI.
