Basically, I'll never change my last name, but he can do whatever he wants. I will however strongly stress the story of my uncle who changed his name to my Aunt's so he could be a Honey too. Role models are so important in a man's life.

Mr. Rogers had a song that was about friends and there was one part of the song that spelled it out "F-R-I-E-N-D" and to this day whenever I spell the word I sing that part of the song in my head.
