Actually, I think Dunphy is right - instill belief. In football, the best and strongest can be upset by pure guts and determination and belief. But I think you are too - spot on. The days of Irish lads heading across the water for fame and fortune really are gone and you'd think developing the LOI has got to be the way (or part of the way) forward.

Yep, with the disappointment and subjectivity of last Sat. fading, I think I have to agree with you. Maybe a bit harsh saying they let us down - the intensity and drive in the 2nd. half was incredible as the players gave it their all to get out of the hole they'd dug themselves into in the first 40. Anyway roll on Saturday - if we cannot convincingly beat Scotland, we don't deserve the 6N trophy anyway!

Brilliant finish - sensational! And got to say, in spite of the general opposition here, the panel are spot on! The Germans went to hell once we started pushing up! Playing players out of position is crazy. So in spite of the bloody fantastic result, we should still be ready to learn and keep improving as there's a long way to go. Can't wait for Scottish match now.

Yep first time ever that Polska have beaten Deutschland. Means Polska v Ireland will be some match! In spite of this being bad for Ireland, still glad for Polska.

Yep another disgusting decision. FIFA and their delightful motto "Respect" - respect the cheat that is. Fred - crap all night until it's time to take a tumble. Hateful. Ruined what was an excellent opener up to that point. Where's the bloody TMO!

Yep, they were great tonight. Roll on the quarters. Hope Leinster emulate them tomorrow and make it 4 out 4 for Ireland again! Would be tragic if this fantastic competition was to collapse thanks to power-hungry owners.

Brilliant comment but a bit unfair as King just wants to rescue a bit of pride and not make too many decisions - leave those to the permanent Trap replacement.
