The Left has an irrational and potentially suicidal commitment to a silly multiculturalism that blinds them to the fact that the basic tenents of Islam are utterly opposed to the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. If the Islamists had their druthers, the smug liberals would soon have to take shelter behind something other than an alledged high regard for First Amendment principles.
