My three year old twins are going to be Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc., so I decided to be Boo, since all I need are a pink tee shirt and purple leggings and pigtails. I like dressing up-- last year I was Elaine Stritch.

We have two kids and have had our 3-row Hyundai Santa Fe for a year now. I love it. Most of the time, the third row is stowed and we enjoy a ton of trunk space, but when we want to have others ride with us, it pops up easily. When grandparents visit, the kids in car seats go in the "way back" and Nana and Papa get the middle row. I like the versatility-- it feels like a car most of the time, but it can haul folks like a van when we want to. And I like being able to pick up other kids or friends when necessary.

GAH, I can't get the link to work right, but if you go to Old Navy's site, they've got a "swing dress" that's long sleeved and striped, and that's what I'm talking about.

Totally ordered that Gap dress the other day based on your recommendation, since I needed to replace my fave Gap Body leggings that had gotten a hole in them, and they were having a sale on $70 or more. And coincidentally, I bought that stripey Old Navy dress in green over the weekend. The fabric is super soft and kind of...sproingy? I like that the stripes are horizontal on the front/back, but vertical on the sides. It's super flattering. My SIL saw it on me and went out and bought one, too.

I went to my 10 year reunion this past fall. Even though I keep up with most people from high school, I'm glad I went. I went to a smallish school where everyone knew everyone, and it was nice to see everyone again. I think most of us has changed a lot, but I think most folks have also gotten better with age and marriage and having kids. I had some great conversations with people I wasn't even that friendly with back then, when nerd vs. cheerleader seemed a huge chasm between us, but who I now have a lot more in common with as a wife/mom/adult. I didn't feel like anyone really had anything to prove, we were just all people who shared many many years, many kindergarten through graduation, together, and that's a powerful bond. The highlight? My most successful classmate is the owner of a pot dispensary. He bought our entire class a shot of Patron.

Looks great, though it's a bit too wide for even my widescreen Macbook. I'd have to scroll over about an inch to see the whole thing.
