I cannot disagree with this post strongly enough. The internet is a reflection of human culture, nothing more. The fact is, human culture has degenerated to the point where integrity is no longer a requirement for journalists, college professors can teach students things for which they have no evidence, playing someone's own words is now a "smear campaign."

The way to reverse this is simple: engage your rational faculty. Demand proof, and encourage others to do the same. Question assertions. Find the truth, and expose it, even if you have to pay a price for it. We as a people, as a culture, as a species, always pay a disastrous price when we turn off our Reason, and blindly accept what others tell us.

(Mr. Breitbart, you're doing great work. It's only natural that, occasionally, one doesn't go your way. You made your point with Conservatives (that members of the NAACP in the audience were a-ok with racist attitudes), but the NAACP's full tape gave the MSM the pretense they needed to re-direct the focus, for liberals, onto Shirley Sherrod instead of where it should have been. Next battle, men! We've got a war to win!)

The one thing I don't understand is: She admitted that she favored one race over another while in a position of power; while in a position of public trust. Can someone tell me why she has been un-fired? Is that not a crime?

Liberals make no distinction between forcibly relocating people who have actually been aggressors* (as Armey did), and relocating them simply for being a member of a certain ethnicity (as Helen Thomas did). To them, all people are but cells in some bigger organism.

*At no time did Armey suggest relocating *all* Palestineans, he made it very clear that Isreal should relocate "people who have been aggressors."
