This is really true. I have struggled with my oldest to "like" him. But as he gets older and I mellow out, he is becoming such a neat kid and I can like him as a person, not just because he is my kid. :)

It is a choice every day. I would like to add that if people chose CAREFULLY it would help.

I tell my boys every week or so, "Choose a girl who is good with money, smart, kind, a hard worker and stable!" They are 12,9 and 4 years old. But this is important. I have seen friends who have married people who are unkind or waste money like crazy or are not stable and it makes those marriages VERY hard.

I chose a man who is all those things I listed and it makes our marriage much easier. So by starting with a good choice, it makes it easier to continue to chose it every day.

I used HypnoBirthing with my 2nd birth and Hypnobabies with my 3rd. Hypnobabies had deep hypnosis, so it is definitely something to look into next time.

I agree that both programs gave me tools that were useful for more than just the birth!
