Wait for the city to start charging $150 an hour to park. For 'safety' of course.

Or we could just tear the thing up and let Obama rule like a God. Chris Matthews is reporting 93% of Democrats are in favor of it.

The Tuaregs have been fighting for a separate Azawad since 1880. This is the 5th significant rebellion in the last 50 years alone. And considering that Azawad, as a land mass is larger than France and only contains 620,000 people, it seems to this observer that they should have it. Soon enough the Tuaregs or the climate or the geography will finish off al Qaeda there on their own. Then the Tuaregs will get back to what they always do, run around and rebel in general against Mali. So the challenge is to prevent the rebellion from expanding into southern Mali, becoming yet another African civil war.

Well that's fine then. The next time and until the end of time when the US wants to lean on Israel for just about anything, point to this watershed event. Tell Obama to climb on his soapbox and scream it at the Arabs.

This is the 5th Tuareg rebellion in 50 years. They've been fighting for a separatist "Azawad" since the 1890's. Azawad is an area larger than France itself but it only has 624,000 people total. It's for the most part one of the most inhospitable lunar landscapes on the planet. The fact that they've latched on to al Qaeda is merely a tactic. Once the French are pushed back and they give up and al Qaeda decides it's too much even for them, the Tuaregs will get back to what they do - rebelling. I say let them have it. The only thing Azawad, apart from Timbuktu, is useful for is testing atomic weapons.

All of this assumes that Obama had the merest intention or signaled any serious message to Iran that it had even a second's worry it would ever do anything material against Iran. If Obama has taught us anything it's that since words are cheap, he can afford to spout billions of them. Obama has never, does not and will never do anything military against Iran. It's as plain as day. Hagel is his mouth piece and pit bull that deflects any attention from the Anointed One. Hagel wasn't nominated because of what he thinks or any sort of deeper or heartfelt understanding about anything. He was nominated because he's a mouthpiece. He will give Obama cover on this and on everything else he has planned for the DoD in the next 4 years.

The first thing Israel needs to do is withdraw from the F-35 program. Hagel would make it untenable anyway and all Israeli technology would wind up in Turkey and therefore Iran. The F-35 is a giant albatross that has even less probability of success than the F-22 which Obama killed. Israel needs to take that money and invest it in a new generation of jet powered strike drones.
