I still can't see the allure in sparkling vampires- sparkling, scrap-booking sissy vampires. I'm actually beginning to appreciate Tom Cruise's Lestat after seeing the train-wreck that is Twilight.

That said, totally agree with Transformers and Harry Potter.

Power Rangers are a (my) guilty pleasure, and am I the only one who thinks there's a similarity between their communication device beep and Jack Bauer's ringtone?

As for comic book heroes, I think in the 80's and 90's comic books became geared to a more adult audience, so I'm not sure it should be counted as a kid franchise.

Interesting list though.

Men who gets involved in mountain uni-cycling must literally have balls of steel.

Air sex? I don't think it's very strange. Well movement-wise. You get a lot of those clubs. Performed usually by drunken people. But admittedly, kinda bizarre for sober folks to take part in something like that. Then again, stranger things have come from Japan.

Props to chess boxers. Brawn and brains can go hand in hand.

Awesomely bizarre list!

great to see Krav Maga at #1. Probably not the 'prettiest' to watch; but self defense isn't suppose to be pretty, and it sure as hell is the most efficient method to knock opponents down.

Most likely he doesn't know its worth. Fish are food, not friends :D

I think they talk about the taste here because probably the fishermen who caught them were subsistence fishermen. They've probably caught the fish couple of times and explained to the scientists how as a fish they're pretty much worthless (bad taste, too ugly for ornamental purposes). That is before it's explained to them that the Coelacanth is priceless.

Suspected Coelacanth would make this list. I think there was another recorded instance where it was found in Indonesia recently in 2007.
