Thanks a lot Steve, hopefully it will allow me to contribute a few of my experiences to WFC.

As for the link: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/search/results?cof=FORI...

This should take you to all my work for goal.com but some articles are repeated due to being copied over from the UK site to the International site and vice versa. Enjoy.

I must say, I cannot legislate for the fact that Wales are referred to as "the club" in the editor's note!

That's the million dollar question Geoff. The honest answer is I really don't know. Eastern Europeans are often all too sporadic in qualification periods so it's very hard to say who will actually make it as far as the Euro's. Providing they qualify, Serbia will be a dangerous team, however, with Stankovic aging they need to bring through some creative midfield players to complement the young defensive midfield players that they have in abundance. I would, however, look out for the hosts Ukraine. They have some very dangerous attacking players as well as a reasonably solid defence with the likes of Rusol and Chygrynsky (pardon spelling) in defence and one of my hot tips for future success: Artem Milevskiy. A great left foot and an ability to play between the lines, could be one to watch.

Looks great all put together. I really do think one of the Eastern European teams will go far in the Euros.

just to clarify: when I said "championship managers" I meant managers who ply their trade in the Championship, not people who play Championship Manager.

We have been producing players of varying quality for years. What now needs to happen is our coach development needs to improve. The fact that the brightest young English managers include name's such as Gareth Southgate and Alan Shearer illustrates the dearth in quality. I would love to see Championship manager's being given a chance in the Premier League because let's face it, some of them are far more capable than the former Premier League footballers who try their hand at coaching. It worked for Everton and David Moyes!

If he manages it that will surely mean making it to the semi-finals, at least. From studying World War 2 etc I really don't understand how a Polish family could be pro active in allowing their son to represent Germany. I'm not one to bear a grudge but it does seem rather odd.
