I think that the liberal view would be that we, as human beings, endnager the sharks (and all other aquatic life) and the proper solution is to ban US from the water... Fines for violations: $500 for wading, $1000 for swinmming, $2000 if you get bit by a shark. If you bleed in the ocean, well, that's a whole new level of violations...

Yes - he gets to walk away without consequences - like so mny other peple we've seen in Washington. And, anyone who points out his hypocrisy (by proving it with his own statements) will be branded by the left as intolerant. Shoot the messenger, can't argue the facts, it will probably go away soon anyhow.

Politifact sounds almost apologetic that they had to rate his statement as "False". Given the context of a nationally televised interview, a statement like that by the President of the United States really be "Pants On Fire"! Politifact shows their bias once again.

At least when he's playing the capitalist villain, he's not saying stuff like, "I'm gonna get the guns!"

Of course, the other thing he said in that movie ("The American President") still seems to apply: "He is interested in two things, and two things only: making you afraid of it, and telling you who's to blame for it. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you win elections."

That's the current "blame Bush/republicans/tea party/big business" approach, isn't it?

Great photo! A car like that would be the most un-safe car on the road, contributing to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people (many of them being children). But it would surely get an 'A' rating form the big boss.

At which point they will introduce legislation requiring you to capture the emissions. And if the legislation fails to pass, the EPA will simply make it a regulation. Have fun with that. Oh wait, I can buy "methane credits" from A.G. Well, that solves everything...

There is, of course, further Beck bashing. But what I noticed is that during this clip, and once more in the program, ED asks viewers to send a yes/no response to his survey, "Do you believe Glenn Beck's rally restored honor to America? ".

I did not read that he ever revealed the results...
