From the Back Cover blurb, it is clear that the majority of the book's pages will focus on things "getting personal" and "where it takes her. " The sister is the motivation for what happens, but what happens in the book is "what happens at the club."
This is a world of difference from, say, a blurb that starts with, "When Brynn's younger sister goes missing and is suspected to be in hiding from cops and criminals alike, Brynn races to find and protect her before she ends up dead, just like their mother."
Same facts; totally different book. ;) This book would spend the majority of it's pages on running, looking for clues, dodging criminals, and other suspense whatnots.
Anyway, so much fun to see the comparison between selling query and back cover blurb.
Thanks for sharing it!

(Or, as I like to think of it, now you can suck at pitches *and* query letters. But seriously, 99% of writers suck at these, and the good news is that sucking is just a starting point on the road to awesome.)
