I'm there right now. And am somewhat just enjoying the ride letting it unfold, seeing what God is doing. I am filled with a sense of wonder and adventure in seeing where it's all going. Of course, the timing could speed up a bit and I'd be okay with that. ;-)

Oh. I've seen the 'dance for the Lord' move done a few times.....all at the same church.....*always* awkward (especially as some women looked at each other like, "I so did not wear shoes I can dance in today" - HA - Yeah. That's why they stay put. Uh huh. ;-) )

"Feeling Blue & Breathing Fire: What to Do When You're Discouraged, Depressed, Angry or PMS'd" (sorry guys! ha)

Or in keeping with the LOTR idea:

"I Am No Man! Women Can Slay Dragons of Evil Too!" ;-)

I teach but I want to be an organizer of women doing fundraisers and service-trips that change how we do the saving-the-world thing ;-)

(A confession: I've got the 'how' in the bigger vision. It's the getting there that scares me to death. Stepping out....but I think I'm quite possibly dipping my toe in the water to check the temperature when I should just...ya know....step. ;-) )

Oh. (ha) I'm on a bit of a rant today about this.

Not you. ;-)
And I love what you've done going to Guatemala.

But I'm questioning (sort of - ha) if we even really have the choice to ask whether we 'will' help the needy and the sick and the poor and the hungry. It's pretty much all throughout the Bible but we seem to either ignore it, or downplay it.

I love the way you're questioning. And I'm in a process of wondering if I'm doing 'enough' or should be doing more or what that would look like and so on. And it's a tad bit frightening because it would mean....well....change.

And I love that quote. ;-)
Thanks for sharing your journey and exploration in this direction, Lindsey. It's an awesome example to get us all thinking!
Love!

Yeah. Just shifted around the blog schedule. It's kind of rant-y. It's WAY more than 100 words (ha). And I'll probably get hate mail. But (gasp) here we go.

And then I'll say "Bianca inspired me" (HA! Kidding!)

First, the color-coding massive-number-of-post-its really kind of scared me. (ha)

Second, I have sooooo been thinking about this, along somewhat different lines. I've been trying to get past the frustration before posting about it but am pretty close to just putting it out there anyway. Maybe. We'll see. ;-)

And by the way, there are plenty of times I buy things I don't really need.
But never when I'm on Zappos. There's nothing I buy on Zappos that I don't need. (Seriously. Don't mess with a woman and her shoes. ;-) )
