I think a lot of the time kids or just people in general need something they can become addicted to and rely on, and a computer game usually fits this description, it will rarely let you down.
One just has to remember, you can always choke on a comfort blanket.

i think the explanations for number 7 that i have read involving mink and rodents are credible but arent the 'long nosed' dogs some of the most intelligent dogs? or is that a fallacy?

it is one heck of a comment on the human race that we have already started thinking about what to do when we inevitably mess this planet up. Specifically when it says that when we have consumed the resources on the outposts we will move on, is that all we are good for, consuming?

This list makes me sad, it was interesting though :D

I'm sick of people complaining that Hitler is No.2, some people only know the name Adolf Hitler and disregard every other Nazi, even the ones that actually outright decided that they were to exterminate 'undesirables' systematically. I loved this list and i dare say i learnt something having previously gained an F in GCSE history :/
