I've read the book several times and Rand's others as well.

Last weekend I saw the film and loved it. This weekend I plan to see it a second time.

The audience broke into applause at the film's end, even here in the People's Republic of Portland.

Sadly, I saw the film as a VERY possible analogy/vision of a second Obama term....

Here in Portland I saw a matinee showing of Atlas this afternoon. Even though I first read the book over forty years ago (and a few times since), the film was fresh and exciting, catching the look and feel of a dying society. When exiting I turned to a young guy and said "we've just witnessed Obama's second term".
