I bet you'd get an entirely different set of answers if you asked this in a traditional senior citizens Sunday School class.

When Peter and I were single and dating, we weren't "compatible" according to whatever that True site is. Little did they know.

Of course, my only issue with Internet matchmaking is when it happens when one or both parties are married... but that's another story.

It's really amazing what God is doing through Dan, and the Idea Camp project. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all we can ask or think...

Wow. I am blown away, Heidi, by the truth of your story and the truth of the Healer. Your words about weight and hiding behind it, will help set many free to address their own stories of pain. I'm sending this now to friends who may find it useful. And praying for God to continue to restore the years the locusts have eaten. Blessings to you!

I agree with Ron on this one Mike. The thing I love about this post in particular, is that it shows you're human. So often when I read your posts I think, "Wow! Mike has got it together." And you do. Incredibly so. I'm challenged to be better because of your words and your example.

But (and I say that not in the "in Dale Carnegie 'but' negates everything prior to what you've said" kind of way), but when I see this, I see a person who struggled. Fear, demands, bills, frustration. All there - all great parts of a story. I can relate and I bet a lot of other people can too.

God will use this to bring great encouragement to many who are at crossroads.

Great tips Mike, and I hope to never need them.

By the way, I'm seeing your site as a google 5/10. Looks like someone there was listening.

I read this post with great interest, as I have a 12 year old boy who loves Japanese anime. (He really liked the anime Bible, by the way. I'd love to hear your review of that.)

You're wise to point out the truth that most (maybe all) anime blatantly sells Eastern religion. Christ followers should know how to explain the differences, sometimes subtle, sometimes huge, to others - particularly our own kids.

Great post, and great to have you as a High Calling Blog member!
