The bartenders were trained by the guys who work the streets outside the Del Rey.
EVERY OCCUR TO YOU THAT FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS, ever since the "no photo rule" there have been hundreds of photos of the girls at HLH on CRT. just look at recent photos of Pam < Karen, ect even performing sex acts and stating they are at HLH, did it ever occur that the girls were starving for business and begged to have their photos put on the site, did it ever occcur to you that this is a mismanaged circus that has spun out of control and their selective enforcement hasn't worked. And did it ever occur to you that CRT and HLH are in bed together. Did it ever occur to you that you have no clue what you are talking about.
Once again a clear sign that things are changing- the new govt. has went overboard to harass Gringos, The walk to the Del Rey still the same as I walk around and step over 15 yr old kids high or past out on crack, the walk only reminds me that the govt has no intention of cleaning up the glaring drug problem that has invested their youth but their main intention is to harass the big spending Gringos, and drive them away. It would be much easier to put a big "Gringo Go Home" sign at the airport. Nothing new just third world mentality at work.
I have fallen into the girlfriend trap myself, my girlfriend is a working girl in a low rent San Jose MP. - that is how she supports her mother and sister, she spends 10 nights a month with me for $40 a night, that's how she supports herself. That's about $5000 a year for about 120 nights of no complaining, great sex , no questions, never late, no lies, no excuses just 10 wonderful nights a month, if all marriages were this simply there wouldn't be the thousands of married and divorced middle aged men roaming the MPs of San Jose searching for love.
Self Destruction: that's the only way to put it. The entire format was changed, at one time the bartenders were second to none, one better looking than the next, the place was a great stop off point on your way too and from the Rey, the late night food was great, the crowd was split between the working class Ticos and the visiting Gringos, located across the street from Gringo hotel (the Morazan) it was a no brainer to stop in and check it out. -- In recent months the format seemed to change, a younger and very unfriendly Tico crowd seemed to take the place over, the music was way to loud and the bar was full of locals nursing there one beer, I stopped going when a friend of mine was choked and dragged into the streets by a drunk 20 yr old Tico who thought my friend was making a pass at his bartender girlfriend, whatever their new concept was IT DIDN'T WORK.
In Costa Rica the "regular girlfriend" is by the hour no more. -- I still see the 60 yr old guy that walks into the Sportsman hand and hand with some 20 yr old and introduces her as his girlfriend it's so sad some guys just don't get it. The working girl doesn't care if your 21 and just left the gym or if your 70 and just left the bar, they only want the money, so save your money - no dinner - no silly gifts - no trips to the beach, just pick a girl that's your type work out a price and have yourself an hour of fun and move on to the next girl as she moves on to the next guy. Big difference between being a fool and just being a nice guy.
Hey Jack they all have real skin on them, can't have everything
Don't attempt to book via the internet - no one speaks english or understands anything, call on the phone or go in person - take a look and book your next trip, if you use cash and stay for 5 days they have rooms for as low as $20 a night. I know guys that paid $300 a month - check it out - I stayed for 8 days once it was great.
Besides being the best looking girl in Costa Rica, she is very nice and very friendly -- Hooters should be proud
in a failing economy that depends mostly on tourism it would be political suicide to ban one form of tourism - sex tourism like it or not is the highest source of income for the country right now - putting thousands out of work and choking off millions of dollars from coming into your country would be a political nightmare - solve the real problems first.
