Website content is one of the biggest goals of every website owner. They realize without the right content they will not get the amounts of traffic they need or want. With the right content, the search engines recognize the site that drives the traffic. Without the right content, the site is just another loser website without any business or site visitors. No one wants to be a loser or have a bad website.

I recommend Aviary Screen Capture for handling screenshots of webpages. Is there any free tool for taking screenshots like the IrfanView screenshot capture, so that we can take screenshots for not only webpages and also outside our browser window.

Carbonite offers an unlimited plan. They keep raising money because they keep burning money. I imagine that David is waiting by the phone for a call from one of those industry giants to save him. He probably spends the rest of his time on the next round of funding.

What happened to the idea of building a business that will be profitable without spending 30M on the way? The VC will be looking for a multiple of 10 on their money and that forces the business to do things like offer unlimited plans, gain millions of clients and then pray for a buyout.

I’ve been using WordPress Automatic Upgrade on several of my sites and it’s great. It automatically walks you through the upgrade process, with minimal work on your part. I can do the manual upgrade, but why when there are plugins like this one is my thinking.

Definitely worth checking out.

Nielsen Online’s US June report showed that Facebook was first out of the top 10 web brands when it comes to time spent online and sixth when it comes to overall traffic.
During the month of June, Facebook attracted 87 million US users, who each spent an average of four hours and 39 minutes on the site.
After Facebook, Americans spend most of their time on Yahoo properties, which was an average of three hours and 15 minutes per person, followed by AOL which two hours and 43 minutes per user. Google came in fourth, with each person spending an average of two hours and 43 minutes on the search site
