Correction to the article. They aren't 25 year-year sentences. The Shafias were given LIFE with the possibility of parole in 25 years. There's a big difference.

I know this will upset a few people... I agree with Olbermann on this. He thinks this is a joke of a controversy, SAME HERE. He thinks they shouldn't have let this 15 minute fame grabber into the locker room, SAME HERE. He thinks that this woman was trying to get this kind of response, SAME HERE.

Anyone else see this as not too subtle intimidation? They try and scare the Tea Party protesters by marching riot police up and down the street, and we are supposed to be afraid of some little old ladies with signs? Tell you what Hanks, how about we through you in a time machine, drop you in the middle of the Pacific and see if the Japanese soldiers are as understanding as you would pretend them to be. It wasn't American "intolerance" that led to the Rape of Nanjing, nor the abuse of POWs by the Japanese forces. This is all more politically correct nonsense from people who have not studied history, nor care to. They pick a few battles, talk with survivors about what they saw, add "Hollywood" and you get this nonsense.

If Activision's Call of Duty: World at War can get it right, why can't Hanks do the same? Might as well sit Tom down with an Xbox 360 and play through the Pacific campaign and learn about Japanese brutality... Pathetic...

P.S. Yes I know the Call of Duty games aren't 100% historically accurate, but they are far more accurate than this Hollywood produced nonsense.
