Actually I read on the tap tap tap blog that Apple rejected their app when they first submitted it because they do not allow remapping of the volume buttons. So they took it out and the app was then put into the app store.

But that still doesn't make sense of how Bettany used it in the video if it's v1.2...

I'm actually kinda annoyed that there is no volume button controls for taking photos. I'm pretty sure that's what we saw in that video, and I feel that it was falsely advertised as so.

AppSlappy is one of the best iPhone/iPad podcasts, and I listen to it every week and can't wait for every new episode! I also like the TWiT podcasts a lot.

I had actually got my order through AT&T online at about 2:15 AM. I had tried the Apple Online Store for about an hour (so from 1 AM to about 2:10 AM) with no luck. I tried the AT&T site and my order gone through in about five minutes once I went through the process.

I'm glad I managed to get it through AT&T before all the system failures later on today.
