Such a bummer that your jar leaked, it's so pretty! I tried using a recycled plastic peanut butter jar first, it leaked too. Your kiddos are so cute. Mine enjoyed making their jar too. They kept shouting, "MORE GLUE MORE GLUE!!" haha

OK, I have to ask the story behind your blog name? It makes me think of my childhood. When my brother and I would get sticky hands from a candy or popsicle we'd go to my dad complaining that they were sticky and he'd tell us, "Just rub some dirt on them and they won't be sticky any more!"

Thank you for the insight into my husband's mind. He hates the clutter and can't stop himself from de-cluttering the living room multiple times throughout the day (he works from home). He even does it in the middle of playdates, including vacuuming! My friends think he is amazing, I think he needs to chill out.

We gave my 8 year old the drawer to the end table by the couch for her things. The 3 and 4 year old have a corner of plastic that is behind the sitting area so it doesn't distract from visitors or tv viewing.

ALL diaper changes were done in the bedroom because our house was small enough for it to still be convenient. Adding diapers and wipes to the situation would have made my husband's head explode.

"on the diagonal" is a much better look, but I'm even happier that you are saving your sister from the atrocious wet bar. :)
