Actually, SPAD has no jurisdiction in Sabah/Sarawak for some reason, to do with autonomy of Sabah/Sarawak I believe. Do look into it, but that is why SPAD's blueprint masterplan etc does not include any projects for Sabah/Sarawak.
We've been hearing about this lopsided Brahim's deal for years and years. Why can't they renegotiate the contract, and if Brahim's decides to launch a suit for compensation, Malaysian taxpayers make them pay lah by boycotting their products. We are now such experts at boycotting without basis - McDonald's, Cadbury's to name a few, why not this then?
Can't they use a looks like me, sounds like me but is not me as a legal defence?
I must say the best thing about this post is that not a single person (or troll) has come up with a comment to argue the case for this poor woman's arrest; showing that across the board from every side, all Malaysians realise this was just a silly misunderstanding and we're all agree it should be put behind us quickly. Thumbs up to all! :D
The past is the past. Don't castigate and bleat. Seize on the moment now and work together in a non-partisan manner to push this forward! It's bloody important for the sake of our children.
I feel Rayer should apologise as well, and his tirade in Penang assembly was quite pointless and a waste of time, but honestly one should not excuse the behaviour by UMNO Youth. It is criminal, and ironic when they say much worse things about DAP in return with impunity. How many times has it been called racist chinese pigs, chauvinist, etc?
"Before you speak, think two or three times. If you think what you say will not affect anyone, then go ahead and say it, otherwise, this is the consequence," he said during a working visit to Penang in conjunction with the Bukit Gelugor by-election.
Pretty easy to see where his sympathies lie
i'm curious how come they can have the ceramah at a school when they protested BN doing the same thing and called it an abuse of power?
of course it's possible. with one of the richest men in the world and his family holding 99% of the money and the remainder 1% divided among all the rest in Sarawak
True, she is subject of sexism and attacks against her because of her age and looks, as expected by opposition parties, but it doesn't help much when PR parties also go on about her looks. On nomination day, how many speeches by PAS, PKR and DAP speakers also pointed out that she is easy on the eyes to get laughs and cheers from the crowd? Get your own guys in line as well, I say!
