It's always a tale of 2 halves. You can count on 45 minutes of solid play, but it seems like we'll inevitably lose the game if we're not up by at least 2 goals.

Our offensive play was so much better in the first half when Bridge was coming into play and sending balls in. In the second half, why did we switch to the right where Faubert can't send a good cross in???

Bah, extra time today also mean tired legs for Sunday's game. Let's see how long that cup run will go for.

Right right, how could I forget them. Good catch.

Does anyone else think it may have been a bad idea to put on two players (Benni and Dyer) who have little to no match fitness?

SJ,
I hate to be that guy, but I'm wondering if you meant "epiphany" rather than "epipthany." Or perhaps it's a turn of phrase that I'm not aware of, in that case feel free to slag and ignore as needed. :)

I think the rumors are Caicedo is a one year loan with an option to buy, and Santa Cruz would be a buy of either 8 or 10 million pounds depending on what you read.

All these links with strikers and forwards (Caicedo, Aliadiere, Santa Cruz, etc.) but our defense is still the biggest weakness of this team. When do we finally address that issue?

So true, so true. I think I would be more willing to be a stepping stone club for him than Remy though. Maybe one day we'll be legitimate contenders for players like this . . .

I think I remember reading that Parker signed a one year extension to the contract he has now. Supposedly he has three years on the current one, plus the one year added at 70k per week.
