Please do not think that all Americans buy into the anti-Putin rhetoric. There are those of us who rather cheer his expert gamesmanship while simultaneously reviling the warmongers and their criminal and serial invasions of sovereign countries who dare oppose the OPEC oiligarchy.

To Obama's credit, he's at least taken steps to shift America's energy policy to more sustainable modalities. Nonetheless our feckless Congress and mindless electorate are actively kicking and screaming trying to save their lucrative revenue streams-- and the military industrial complex that enable them.

Thanks again, Mr. Orlov, for having the courage to speak truth to (rapidly waning) power. Some of us are listening.
