Now this I totally agree with. There's a HUGE audience for it and one that can benefit greatly. Education is the key and I think there's a small group of us trying to figure that out. What's the next step? Really.

Thanks for this post, but I have to disagree slightly. I was at NRA as well and found less than 5% of the attendees (my calculations) using social media tools to talk about NRA, I was stunned actually. I do agree that lots of people were walking around looking down at their phones, but they just weren't tweeting. And I was looking extra, extra hard for evidence of the use of the tools. It was very disappointing on one hand and a GLORIOUS opportunity on the other. For certain, there are restaurant guests using the medium, but the industry as a whole just doesn't know what's out there yet.
