The first book of the space trilogy is fascinating. Took me a bit to get into it, but once I was in, I really enjoyed it. As far as a single book is concerned, I'd lean closest to saying The Last Battle is a favorite, if for no other reason than it has the best illustration of a false teacher I've ever seen (the monkey who thought he was a man).

Funny, I had the opposite reaction to you on Death by Living. I really enjoyed the rabbit-trailing of the book (but it may be that I'm an odd duck).

I'd love to win it because I'm a big fan of this series of commentaries and have few good commentaries on Proverbs in my library

Cool—the topic of tomorrow's post is how podcasts help us grow spiritually. I'll be quoting some of your article (positively, I might add).

Great response post, Dan! Does this mean I have to scrap what I have planned for tomorrow?

Great post(s) Julian - loved the tone, especially point four. It's been the hardest thing for me trying to listen to MacArthur. Sometimes he (and more often his team) makes himself so unlikeable that it almost doesn't matter if what he says is true. Hopefully there will be much good for me to glean from the posts regardless.
