I love having a co-blogger on the book blog. So much more fun to bounce ideas off each other, chat about books and put that as a blog post!

The inspiration usually hits when you can't write, doesn't it? And then when you have time and sit down, that idea thread has vanished!

I'm totally with you - turn off the TV and read a book. That is my hope for this year, find time to read a physical book. I read tons of books, mostly via audio on my commute. But I don't curl up with a book at home, and that is what I want to accomplish. Great challenge! My book blog is hosting a challenge and some bookish events too :)

What a lovely printable, I like how it has actual goals you can check off each day. Brilliant idea to organize it that way. Maybe I need this to help me stay motivated.

If your son is anything like mine - here's what he really wants as a stocking stuffer: plastic container lids, the dog's bowl, toilet paper. ;)

Ha! I like some of those funny ones. Do they help motivate or just distract though?

Wow Kim that's a horrible situation. Though it isn't limited to cell phones, but "in my day" people just verbally threatened each other in high school, whether serious or not, but now we all hide behind screens and say things we wouldn't necessarily say in person. That tracker is a really good app option.

Obviously times are different, but I didn't get a cell phone until I was driving, and it was because I didn't want to get stranded (I got stranded once when my car broke down, and then my parents got me a cell phone). Obviously my baby isn't old enough yet but I wonder what will the "standard" be when he's a teen. I definitely plan on him having a phone when he drives, but it might be necessary for him to have one younger to be able to call us for help if he's out with friends somewhere and something happens. I just don't want to deal with the endless texting and overages heh.
