Agree - that's why I added the --inbox option, at the request of a user who uses the Things iPhone client to capture tasks, and then synchronizes Things to THL on his machine.

I think this is because Time Machine files are also created with ACLs that disallow anyone from modifying them (they are meant to be permanent copies). I imagine any copies you make also get those ACLs copied. The easiest way around this is to temporarily disable ACLs on the file system using the fsaclctl command, or to use chmod to permanently remove the ACLs.

Well... no, they don't run under Windows. They are Mac apps. I consider this a feature, not a bug :-)

I agree that the type of status updates are different for Twitter and Facebook. I recently discovered the "Selective Twitter status" app in Facebook (http://apps.facebook.com/selectivetwitter/ ), which allows you to choose which Twitter posts should be crossposted by tagging them with #fb.

@Conrad: sorry to hear of your problems with CC support. As evidenced by my review, my experience has been quite different. I have gotten personal replies several times from CC in response to bug reports. Very helpful as well are the forums, since Things has a very active user community (and CC people also post frequently).

I don't own an iPhone or iPod Touch, so I cannot comment on the sync capabilities.
