My high school back in Serbia is College Preparation type. It may be different experience for me than other students from schools like Medical HS or Agricultural HS. In Serbia we have all kind of different HS. Anyway, lack of praxis is present in all HS in Serbia, and I consider that a problem.

In Serbia; teachers are always trying to get our brains going, and they are logical thinking. That is good, and I am thankful for that, but I would like to experience some things I am learning about. Now when I have two different kind of views and experiences from two pretty good educational systems; I would simply mixture of those two, if it was possible. Of course that probably won't be possible, but I will try to give some people ideas about that in Serbia.

Students not participating in the process is a very common problem. I've noticed that here in the US, and that is big problem in Serbia, too. The way to make the learning process for the student it more interesting would be adding praxis, at least in Serbia. I was always for new thing, and I would be really happy to see educational system in Serbia changing towards something more modern.

I have held many presentations during International Education Week about Serbia. I was proud that I got a chance to present my country to the Americans. They are just amazed how everything is different in Serbia. They can't believe that college is about $1500 per year, and in most cases students get government scholarships. Most of my friends think that the US is perfect place to live in, but there are so many differences. I like the US, because of some things. I also love my country, because of somethings. Young people in Serbia should appreciate educational system they have, and opportunities for affordable and decent education.

Izlozio si prave cinjenice. Dobio sam jednistvenu priliku da budem ucenik na razmeni u USA. Jednostavno sve je suprotno od Srbije. Casovi u skoli su mnogo fleksibilniji, jer jednostavno sistem dozvoljava da izaberes casove koji ti mogu pomoci u buducoj struci.

Za skoro sve sto se nauci u skoli, profesori pokusaju da nadju pravu primeni, pa cak iako je potrebno profesor ce organizovati tzv. Field Trip i omogucice djacima da odu da vide kako se sve to primenjuje na delu.

U Americi svi pricaju o karakteristikama lider i jednostavno svako pokusava da te pripremi za zivot. Ohrabruju te da budes samostalan, i da se snalazis sam u zivotu. Da postavljas nove standarde i zelis vise nego sto imas. Sve to moze pomoci u otvaranju novog biznisa. Srednje skole iz Americkih filmova su daleko drugacije nego u realnosti, nema gurpa NERDS, GEEKS, FOOTBALL GUYS or whatever.

Svako je zeljan da pomogne svakome, ljudi su uvek nasmejani. Pa cak i kad te ne vole jednostavno ce ti pomoci i uciniti te da se osecas kao da ste najbolji prijatelji.

Jedna od liderskih kvaliteta je prihvatanje odgovornosti za svoje postupke, to je jedna od stvari koje uce ovde. Takodje profesori pokusavaju da stimulisu timski rad, i kompetentnost je veoma izrazena.

Moram reci da od kako sam dosao u USA, dosta sam se promenio:

Now I am even more capable to do certain things independently, and I have learned how it is important to have a leadership skills for life. I have learned that I need to pour the concrete into new path I am building, and other people will walk there.

Yeah I agree with you. I can talk about this, but I already had discussion with person who first submited negative comment, and we agreed not to let say "poke" each other on this topic.
