OK. So maybe Seattle needs a little more work. The front page of the Seattle Times is a big article promoting the largest Christian music festival on the West Coast. *sigh*

I'm thankful that my Congressman, Jim McDermott, was one of the few who voted against this addition to the capitol. Apparently he understands how divisive and offensive this issue is. It's nice to live in Seattle.

Does anyone else think it's funny that a Christian is promoting education to defend his religion? Usually, it seems like they are trying to fight against education. In this case, a historian who was born 37 years after Jesus died, is evidence that Jesus performed miracles... he obviously couldn't witness these "miracles", but he wrote about them, so they must be true!
