I am for poison. Once rats take over we are in deep trouble. Relocation? Oh please, like one rat at the time? Besides they will find their way back or a new batch is already breeding.
I used to live in New York for a while. Believe me, once they are in a neighborhood, and that happens so fast, poison is the only way to avoid infestation.

I think you are talking about a trottoir, a very wide sidewalk, that served a multi purpose bikes both ways and pedestrians and strollers, kind of like our multi use path. It is separated from the street by a curb. They also have them in Germany and other European Cities. Some used to be the old carriage trails.
Boulder is making a mess out of our already busy streets.
Better public transportation would be nice. It would help if they would be on time too.
Cant wait to see the disaster of these right sized roads in the winter.
