what u need to do when you are instructed to is power down your phone and then unplug it
hold down the home button then plug it back in.

but id say now that the libraries are ther the two jbs are pretty evenly matched.
its just a matter of personal preference now.

i think ra1n is currently just as good as the devteams version
it was a little buggy at first but is running smooth now
no need to switch either way.
im on the devs jb though.
