6/10. Plot was pretty standard, but please, please Fosgitt, practice drawing ponies. I like your style but you just keep getting worse. First the suburban Ponyville, then the broken leg anatomy, then the whisk clipart, now Greta's morbidly obese and a different color. If you don't know what a character looks like, images.google.com is a URL away.

Of course, Curnow shares the blame for not actually doing his job as an editor. Can't expect him to sync up canon images of characters when he can't even spell the word siege.

I don't see the reason for a name change. "Music of the Day" and "Spotlight Music" are already fairly different. "Training Ground's" terrible and gives the connotation it's related to the Artist Training Ground in some way and/or is for inexperienced creators when it's just the place to put the "not quite" tracks that don't make the Spotlight.

No. The quality that's posted here is just fine. I rarely, if ever, have found songs in the Spotlight I've enjoyed. You see what kind of reaction the fanfics get here due to the restrictions. That is, no reaction. I'd rather not have the music fall down a similar path.

I see the opposite. You nearly can't go a Spotlight music post without it having at least one acoustic/rock song in it.

1) He's a bland cardboar cutout with no real personailty other than "stereotypical high school male love interest."

2) Twilight has never been one to show any romantic interest in any characters, let alone some random person she bumps into one day.

3) The amount of time needed to develop his character in the show is just too great to be worth it. There's already seven main characters--eight if Glimmer actually does anything. Show staff struggle as it is to blend them together in episodes and let's not forget the secondary characters haven't gotten much as of late either. You have Spike, Big Mac, Braeburn, Soarin, and Shining. Develop them first before you do the random EqG character very few really care about.

4) As it's a show for little girls, any potential relationship would be dull and boring as any potential intrigue or drama would sapped away by the TV-Y rating. It'd be like doing an episode about literal genocide. The writers would be handicapped at every turn.

This was terrible. There was no build up, no real climax, just Sombra suddenly turning good and status quo is preserved. The end. I had thought Starlight's redemption was weak and the low point of the finale, but of course, the comics have to remind me just how much better written the show is and how bad it could have been. And please, if you're going to do a serious story with a serious plot, don't suddenly throw in a bunch of awful jokes and "action" right at the end. Keep the tone consistent.

2/10. Would downvote if it were a fanfic.

And what happened to Lightning Dust and all them? You know, that big "villain" team up that was hyped? I guess S6 might actually do something with them since the comics didn't bother addressing their statuses. I guess Sombra will never be brought up again by the show. Or maybe he will and the comics can finally be fully tossed into a AU.
