Does anyone else see this story as "fishy?" I feel so sorry for the baby, and the family. But at the same time...when was the last time you heard of someone breaking in to take a baby that was random.

UNBELIEVABLE! So if you were convicted of being a SEX OFFENDER prior to the law being posted, you get to skate??? What possible sense does that make, once a threat to a child ALWAYS a threat to a child.
If they didn't charge an arm and a leg for natural gas it would be easier to pay. Hard to feel sorry for CU when you see their salaries. And they continue to raise and raise. It's no wonder we can't pay.
Your all right, thiefs are nothing but terrible lazy people who need to be punished to the full extent of the law. But I find it hard to feel to sorry for the victims when they leave a purse with over $500 in cash in plain sight in an unlocked car. Leaving laptops, Ipods etc laying on your seat in an unlocked car is kind of asking for it people. Lets be realistic, we know the times we live in, we know there are bad people out there. Why make it so easy for them???
How in the world in two young girls in nothing but lettuce leafs not about sex....come on.....who are you kidding...if they just wanted attention they could of dressed as giant stalks of celery or something...I believe you are the one with the problem if you think that isn't about sex. wow....wake up.
This is proof that sex sells people. Those girls weren't selling going vegan because it's healthy. If that was their plug they would be dressed for the weather and carrying signs or something with statistics of how good it is for you and how bad meat is. But instead they showed their lack of intelligence by dressing in lettuce leafs in 20 degree weather and completely demeened themselves as women by advertising "health" with sex. If I were considering giving up meat...this display would show me that scientific stufy or not....it obviously effects your brain.
This should be a heads up folks. Even though no ice, the temperatures can blow transformers and we are without power and heat. Be prepared because it looks like this Winter could be a doosy! Stock up on firewood, candles, and alternate sources of heat.
Here is the sad truth people, yes there are statistics all day long that seat belts save lives and prevent further injury in a lot of cases. What you don't hear about are the ones where the seat belts have caused further damage. I was married to someone who worked accidents for many years on the west coast and heard of people being cut in half by their belts and them jamming and not allowing escape where they burned to death. So as a result I only wear my on rare occasions or on the highway. It is my personal choice.
Unforunately you are incorrect, none of the kids were wearing seat belts. However if you had seen the accident, in this case they would have likely still died as the truck crushed the car and was sitting on top of it.
