This is an excellent book that demonstrates (with 230+ pages of facts) many of those in government who now claim or who have claimed to be "conservative" are just the opposite in so many ways. Glenn has said many times that our problems are no longer Republican or Democrat issues... these parties are both taking us to Hell... one perhaps just faster than the other. Read this with an open mind and don't be offended if the individuals you have supported in the past are mentioned here. This is a real depressing eye opener and from a true, traditional conservative point of view, it can only be said that those of us with these principles and values have been betrayed and thrown under the buss.
Unfortunately I see that our leadership has only the will for weak diplomacy in handling Iran's nuclear program. Our leadership is truly insane by definition. They have already begun this process hoping that discussions will work and yet it has been tried with madmen so many times in the past with overall failure as the result. The game will be played with words and distractions by one hand while the other hand continues work with their nuclear program. Israel will grow tired of our inaction and they will attack... they don't mess around and I honestly can't blame them for that. Iran has promised to wipe them off the map and that threat should not be taken lightly.
Here is my input regarding Limbaugh... keep listening. Every time that I think I should complain that he is focusing too much on politics I see that he stands pretty fast to core traditional conservative beliefs. I listened to his CPAC speech and much of his recent commentary and I think that he has finally seen us in the 11th hour. God bless him for being so much of an optimist for so long but there comes a time when reality sets in... I too am optimist for our future but I can't deny that we have a very grave situation a hand that requires immediate attention.
Any price controls are bad... your fears are valid. Any company forced to reduce prices established by an existing business model or any company not allowed to adjust prices according to increasing market changes would be forced to reduce operating costs such as the elimination of jobs.
Petermmmm.... you have said so much here that I don't have the time right now to pick this apart. I must say however that many of your ideas in this comment and your two comments below support socialism and even the implementation of communism. You demonstrate a lack of understanding of this economy, the function of free markets, and indiviual freedoms to say the least.
chrstsldr... I used the word "believing" for a reason. This 9/11 conspiracy theory is very much like a church and its followers are practicing what I believe to be a very dark religion. Only misguided scientists and engineers are looking at and analyzing the empirical data in an attempt to make something out of nothing. They have biased their investigation with the belief in a conspiracy plot and they are striving to prove the use of explosives.
Well... I'm not a "believer" and if you are... that's fine.
Dave... you may consider yourself godless but don't label yourself a heathen!!! Anybody believing in 8 of the 9 principles clearly demonstrates to me someone of good morals which has nothing to do with theology. Rest assured that I will stand along side you anyday to fight the ACLU or any other interest that attacks our American Principles and Values!!!
florida1... you are certainly welcome here. I'll second jmaki's comment that morality has nothing to do with theology. Find comfort in believing at least 7 of these 9 principles and you will help us all!!!
Well... I can't deny that some of these folks are scholarly and that these articles are published and appear to have been peer-reviewed at some level. I'll give you that!!! These articles however don’t say much to me… five authors in one article that agree with publicized findings of the NIST and FEMA and three of those five authors in another article making a hypothesis based upon existing data. I guess that one believing explosives were used to bring those buildings down may find some interest here… sorry I just don’t subscribe to that theory or that rationale.

Architect & Engineers for 9/11 Truth? Find me some real meat for me to chew... I've already seen this site and others like it over the years and I'd like still like to see some scholarly, peer-reviewed, and published scientific arguments that support these claims! After almost 8 years and all these groups can come up with is some guy giving commentary to a video wildly speculating about what is being seen on video tape when the ASCE and other respected organizations have contributed countless hours researching factual data in an effort to improve our lives??? Good grief!!!
