A lot of UCR students blocked the Circunvalacion in San Pedro at 4pm in front of the UCR´s Law School. It was really bad at rush hour. They had tires (they usually burn them), logs, etc to help them block the roads. The traffic jam was all the way to the Fuente de la Hispanidad rotonda in front of the San Pedro mall. What a waste of time!

According to Resolution Nº 4395-1995 "The university authorities cannot impede access to the national authorities if they are prosecuting a criminal or suspect..."

The "University Autonomy" differentiates the campus from the public roads to control the vehicle ingression; however, as a Public Institution (Estate University) anybody can visit their University premises as long as they comply with their regulations.
