Driving while intoxicated is illegal, as is consuming alcohol if you are under 21. Sadly, the driver did not care about either of those things being illegal.

You would think when they tried to pass similar laws in 2004 and 2005 and both of those were struck down by the courts that they would get the message.... I hope this one is struck down as well... There is a difference between morals and laws and statutes. Do I ever want either of my girls to end up in the adult entertainment industry? Of course not. But do I want to twist laws until they are forced out of business? Of course not.

If she committed suicide, he would have said that when first questioned by the police. The fact that he initially lied about her whereabouts definitely cast a bad light to begin with. Couple that with the apparent motive (wife's online carousing) and I don't think there was any suicide.

Hogwash, if they commit the crime she is accused of committing, they forfeit those rights. She can get her GED, lots of inmates do. Heck, some even get college degrees in prison on our nickel.

Maybe she did jump the gun, but she owned up to it and apologized. Also, had the police chief responded to the Mayor when she first asked him for help, none of this would have happened.

Reading about it being intentionally set... I think whoever is deemed to have set this fire should be charged with not only arson, but however many counts of attempted murder as people there are living in that building... Such a stupid dangerous selfish act...
