Lets just ponder the possibilities here. A boat of this size could easily have ten or more people on board. How much do you value life? Maybe a little overtime is ok here. Also, boats of this size hold about 500 gallons of fuel. Think of the fire spread potential. The situation could have been a lot worse, and it is always better to expect the worst when you are in emergency management. Is 40 firefighters overkill? Not at all.
