What really gets me is that there should have been, IMHO, ANY journalism. That's what has caused the problems with the MSM. One should report! Report with What, Where, When, and HOW! Nothing more. All 'journalism' does is give license for people with a 'bully-pulpit' a ways and means to 'EDITORILIZE.' Report the facts and report them in a way that does not FAVOR anyone. That's what the news and newspapers USED to be. And the MSM wants to know how Conservatives can say that they (the MSM) are biased? This is EXACTLY how!

OK, dummy! Understand this. The School Band, The Sschool choir, the School Glee Club, The School 4H Branch -- all are representative of the school -- which IS public in nature. Therefore, they cannot take a stance AS a school on matter of public opinion and/or political policy. To do so is to (here's a big word for you, dummy) "indoctrinate' people. This is NOT allowed. That's what's at stake. You may try to degrade the situation, to make it mean less (because YOU say so) but it is the CONCEPT that matters most. Get it?
Saying all that is fine -- if you are actually going to do something about it Chicago Public Schools. I can say that you are a flying baseball if I want -- but that don't make it fact nor enforceable. What has to happen now is that someone calls out the Chicago Public Schools for making this statement and FORCING them to answer -- not scoot away -- 'Why didn't you immediately oppose this and shut this down?"

The problem that I have with this is that YOU know it, I know it, people who read this website know IT.... ....However, John Q. Public doesn't know this and will continue to ascribe to the lies and not know any better. This kind of thing needs to get out into the mainstream public. I know you have to start somewhere but that still does not account for this information getting ready to die a lonely death in a field of electrons. Might as well take all copies of it and put it in a huge mass-degaussing machine.
Make these things public. Give an interview and expose this. If one has to do so with an 'off-topic' statement, (For the record, I dislike this 'tactic' but when one steers you where THEY want you to go and continue to ignore the realities -- and perhaps (ususally) FOSTER or continue to foster these deceptions/lies etc.) I think that it is justified in order to allow people to see the truth. Never forget, if the public knew the truth, we'd be completely Conservative and we'd not have the problems of socialism/commiunism/Liberalism/Deceit etc.
Pork Fat and virtual any animal lubricant by-product is not the best thing out there as syntehtics just due to consistency of lubricity are much better. Synthetic non-organics also have other attributes -- like not attracting flies etc. It would just be much better and much more consistent to use a synthetic lubricant if one is to be used at all.

Similar things have been tried -- especially back in WWI with British Enfield styled Rifles that the Brits left in theatre but the rifles used pig-based lubricants on the rifles and the ammunition. The mullahs etc., gave special dispensation to the muslim soldiers who refused to touch such weapons -- allowing for a decree that doing so WAS allowable -- given the circumstances. Thus it will be case if one touches either by target or by loading, such a 'loaded' round. It is not the be all to end all that many people think that it will have to be. Just remember that so not as to perpetuate the myth.
