This is going to be one of the most facinating trends we have seen. Increase the size of government on the backs of industry. The energy industry represents the industrial oxigen for the economy. It is only natural that the government would want to tax us for it. I would guess that water would be next. Here are a couple of links to annalysis of the various bills.
