So the supreme court ruled in favor of the school district. So what? Supreme court rulings have often been not only shoddy but they, at times, flatly contradicted previous rulings. When the US Constitution was signed, several states had official state religions. The fifth amendment says "congress shall make no law" meaning the US Congress, not states.

What criminal acts. Exactly which federal/state/local law did either of them break? Cite references.

The spirit of man goes up, the spirit of an animal goes down.
Animals don't go to heaven.

I don't think it makes sense for non-victims to apologize to criminals. It didn't make sense for Mike Farrell to "forgive" Stanley Williams and, so, Hannity shouldn't be "forgiving" Vick either - especially since Vick did not ask Hannity to forgive him.
But, 10 years for torturing and killing dogs? Ridiculous. The average sentence for murdering a person is around 7 years. It seems that if VIck were locked up at all it should have been in the range of, say, six months. I don't think you have any idea what a sentence of 10 years is like. Andy why set the punishment bar so high for killing chattel? By comparison, such a crime commited on a human should have a mandatory death penalty with no exceptions.
It greatly concerns me when people begin to elevate animals and their suffering to anything approaching people. As high as the heaven is above the earth, so high are people above dogs.
