I happen to have time to waste tonight. And I particularly hate useless twats who insist on yapping nonsense after I comment. Telling me I dictate their sexuality. Label yourself all you want buddy no one gives a shit. Just don't expect characters in great films, or everyone else to do so, and call them "heteronormative" when they don't.

So sorry I offended you O Speaker for the LGBT! Pffff...and he dares call me arrogant... And people are somewhere in between that's just a fact. Even if there are extremes and I believed I utterly was only attracted to men or women. As much as you wish you could deny it. Genetically, if "straight" people have kids are they guaranteed "straight"? Nope. I bet you like to think you're different. Well you're not. And you're just going to have to accept that I'm just as LGBT as you are, even if I was the B in there. I'm part of that group and I'm here to stay ;).

And please get over yourself. The LBGT police isn't coming to get you.

There is no such thing as "heteronormative" culture, there are evolutionary pressures which have caused people to feel resentment towards their own sexually. And there is no such thing as exclusively gay or straight individuals, people fall somewhere along the spectrum. Any claim to the contrary is to repress one's own sexually. Then again, as with religion, there are millions of delusional people like you out there. Please do the internet a favor, and go read a fucking book.

If you still insist on doing it, and your argument for labeling people is that it's being done by the majority, then you have effectively shattered any credibility you have as a supporter of LGBT minority rights.

And you haven't addressed my point on sodomy laws. Continuously looking at history for victimization is what many who identify as African Americans use to justify alienating themselves from society based solely on the color of their skin, thereby perpetuating racism.

Once again, let me emphasize that your comments, your thoughts and your existence are worth nobody's time.

Please enlighten me....So if I'm following your logic (and I'm being sarcastic), "You cannot separate the man from his work" means that if somebody that donated millions to cancer research for kids, happened to have ignorant opinions towards a minority group you would boycott his donations???

The fact that you actually believe that the film is "without one GBLT character" exposes your stupidity. As far as I am concerned the entire lot of characters could be gay. Even the parents, or did you see them having sex on camera? And you assume I'm straight, as you probably would anyone who disagrees with you... That you wish that characters in a movie, or people in general, be identified or labeled by their sexual orientation is NOT what LGBT rights are about. And to clarify to you, OSC does not advocate that "gay people be imprisoned", he said that laws against sodomy should be upheld. Which in itself, even if it's intolerant, shows how stupid he is. I mean...how do you suppose we enforce sodomy laws? Imbeciles like you shouldn't be allowed to speak in public.

Who cares about his stance on LGBT? The appalling ignorance of his views and stance on homosexuality has nothing to do with the fact that he wrote an excellent novel. If anything, his views on homosexuality are ironic seeing as one of the main theme of his novel is to shed a light on humanities' intolerance and fear of what it struggles to understand. And shame on you for attacking a cinematographic triumph. Your charade is an insult to the sensible people who actually support and fight for LGBT rights.
