Obama made positive reference to a speech Karzai recently gave. Gen. Petraeus, on CNN moments ago, also made positive reference to Karzai's speech. I'll betcha the person/s who wrote Obama's speech also wrote Karzai's. Any takers?
dsmith, you are exactly right, and well said!
Not only did Obama keep Bush's Secretary of Defense, he apparently kept his speechwriters as well. Whenever a President gives a speech, the public should be given the name and background of the person/s who wrote it. President Ron Paul would not have others write his speeches for him. Indeed, he wouldn't even write them himself. He doesn't need a script, he can just get up there and talk. How pathetic is American politics, and destroying the world!
What's really scary to ponder is what happened to the "missing" 500 billion dollars that the Federal Reserve appropriated to foreign central banks. I say "missing" because when Representative Grayson asked Benjamin Shalom Bernanke where that money ended up, he said "I don't know". Would anyone be shocked to learn that, say, 400 billion ended up in Israel's coffers? If 3 billion in "official" aid to Israel seems like a lot to some people, how about HUNDREDS of billions? I know, one might say there's no evidence of that whatsoever. But that's precisely the point. Since the Fed COULD funnel all that money to Israel without evidence or a paper trail, and get away with it, what's to stop them from doing it?
Mr. Giraldi, Fantastic article, as always. Sir, you mention the nearly 3 billion in various forms of US aid to Israel, and I presume that number is some kind of "official" estimate. However, there is apparently a "missing" 500 billion dollars which the Federal Reserve has appropriated to foreign central banks. I say "missing" because Benjamin Shalom Bernanke himself, when asked by Congressman Grayson where that money ended up, said "I don't know". Would anyone be shocked to find out that, say, 400 billion ended up in Israel's coffers? Or how about all of it, whether directly or indirectly? I mean, we wouldn't expect Mr. Bernanke to say "It went to Israel, congressman", would we? Mr. Giraldi, if it could ever be proven that not 3 billion, but in fact hundreds of billions of American taxpayer dollars have gone to Israel, it might, just might, wake the American people up to what is really going on, and hopefully put an end to it. I would love to see you address this issue of the 500 billion.
Mike, I realize you are on the Israeli payroll, but I must tell you that your style will not succeed in winning many converts.
would her position be the same if Bush were still president? I think not.
Apparently, based on his comments, Mr. Kelly believes the Taliban was responsible for 9/11. First time I ever heard that.
