"programs that would assist in the development of market-friendly alternative fuels"
I'm a bit confused, there are no market friendly alternative fuels to gasoline and natural gas. Ethanol and electric cars are not market friendly in any sense of the word. On the other hand we have abundant sources of natural gas...if we can get our own government to let us recover it...that would allow us to cut back on imported oil. I would agree that tax subsidies are unneeded.

This article appears to be pimping for more tax payer money for ethanol and wind and solar programs. I sense a Trojan horse.

I, frankly, have to agree that there is no such thing as the Tea Party, at least not in the sense of a Democrat or Republican Party. There is no national headquarters, there are no national fund raising drives and for the most part there are no state headquarters remotely resembling major party organizations. The closest thing to a formal organization is the Tea Party Express and while I agree with the sentiments of smaller government and less federal intrusion in my life they don't represent me.

Understand, the whole point of the left declaring the Tea Party to be an entity is to have an organization to attack and vilify. They can't attack 60 percent of the population, represented by Republicans across the board , many independents and even a few Democrats who agree with much of what the "Tea Party" represents without admitting that they, liberals, now only represent public and private unions and the media. I don't want a national organization, I want millions of fiscally conservative Americans who will vote that way under the umbrella of the Republican Party with fiscally conservative independents and Democrats thrown in for good measure.

Talk about convoluted logic. What does what John Conyers reads have to do with electronic smoking, other than giving you an opportunity to get a dig in? You then go on to accuse the author of wanting to have phone sex ala Weiner. You seem to be projecting some of your own issues.

You made the charge. Give one example of hate taught by home schoolers or admit you're simply repeating liberal talking points without any justification for your rant.

There was one death which was essentially self inflicted since injury or death usually results from standing in front of a moving cat, particularly when the driver can't see you. What American and Brit deaths do you refer to or are you just engaging in an anti-semitic rant?

What's even scarier is that the current "Leader of the free World" is even more clueless than Carter.

"That simply getting rid of Mubarak is the end game, and what results, no matter what, is all good."

How incredibly naive! To get rid of one evil with absolutely no plans for what comes next is without question worse than having done nothing. We're talking about an entire country with millions of lives at stake not a social experiment that can be undone. I shudder at the thought of the incredible harm that will be unleashed if Egypt goes the way of Iran. As evil as the Shah was, what replaced him has proven to be many times worse.

I cannot believe mob rule is ever the solution. For a history lesson look at the difference between the American revolution and the French revolution. One created the greatest country in history, the other torture and countless deaths.
