for a very long time I felt that we were the good guys.
now I realize that we are but pawns in a chess game and only called on to buy from greedy corporations or in time of war when they need fresh buddies...
If I hadn't gone through everything I've went through the last 7 years, I would still be clueless..
Guess everything happens for a reason, but to see our country destroyed because we all have denial blinders on is very sad.

There are 150 million taxpaying 1040 type taxpayers in America.
If each would put up 100 bucks, we would have the money to compete with them and beat them.
But who would they let carry the torch.
Without being United, we will fail
It really is that simple.

Our movie stars are no longer our hero's, just as our sports figures are no longer our hero's.
We need people like Bill Cosby, Lee Iaococca and others from years past to step up to the plate and say we are Americans, we're proud to be American's and we take the high road and we take care of our own.
That is why I post stuff like this that I agree with and why I probably will continue to do so even though I end up with egg on my face.
Bottom line, where are our hero's to lead us back to where we got lost at?

On the front of today's Wall Street Journal is a blurb about somebody called "Good Time Charlie" and how he was a congressman that spurred U.S. funding for Afghanistans resistance against Russia and I was thinking to myself, other countries are probably doing just that right this minute and Russia and China might be two of them.
Are we stupid or what?

I no longer hunt, but I will always defend the right of Americans to bear arms to protect us from idiots like these.
What worries me is if they get in charge of the military and if they take over the government, they would be and that will pit mother against son, father against daughter and so on and nobody will win

The same people that do not want you to kill a chicken so that they can have meat to eat will be bitching when the grocery store shelves are empty because they have put the chicken farmers, or whatever, out of work to live their perfect lifestyle
Problem is, when you borrow from the devil and you send your jobs to the devil and you sleep with the devil, the devil owns you.
Can't any of our leaders stand up and shout that We Need to Be able to stand on our own two feet so that we are not dependent on others?
