I'd live in the National Guard Depot Armory (After unlocking the Keller Family Door to the Fat-man of course) there's everything you need in there. A workbench, a stockpile of weapons, beds even your own little Glowing one to se as a night light. Sure there's a few skeletons around but at least you're prepared for an unexpected attack. There's also the doors that can only be opened using switches dotted around and could be used well if anyone was to come knocking with big guns to lockdown the door to the armory
