If we had small dues for membership, that money could be used to lobby or advertise to increase our numbers. The larger our organized base is the more power we would have. We could finally have a voice in what is happening to our country instead of just sitting back and complaining. Lets do something.

What I am proposing is that we start a non-violent revolution against our government. Our country is supposed to be ran according to our wishes through representation, but clearly non of us wish to be represented the way we are now. We can change this by collectively enforcing our will upon our representation. The idea is that we unionize the citizens of the United States. This would help us in the following ways: through very small membership dues ($5 a month) we can lobby just like everyone else (should we choose to play ball-which is how all of our civil servants really get paid), we could boycott anything or anybody that doesn't conform to our National rehabilitation, with just a small portion of Americans as members we would have a voice that polititions that want to be elected would have to listen to, and most importantly-everyone out here, that is fed up with the circus on Capital Hill, could play an active role in fighting to win our country back.
The benefits to organization on a scale like this are endless, but I would like to mention a few. In developing our Civil Union, we would organize down to counties in each State (maybe even cities). We would want a voice from every where and it would take much work but we have plenty of people out here without jobs (with an axe to grind) that would be happy to work on saving my country from the deadbeat politicians. Once we get organized and we start to amass some capital we could advertise to boost membership. As members of this massive organization, Im sure companies would be very willing to offer discounts on just about any good or service you can think of. By using our spending, or lack of, we could effectively regain control of the cost of living, INCLUDING HEALTH-CARE.
The bottom line here is we have a duty to save our country from ruination, and this is our chance. Instead of wasting our time talking about it and hoping an honest politician will emerge from the crowd we can make a difference together. It would be very easy to get members with the problems we have going on that arent being addressed. Lets just stop talking and do something-this is a great site and seems to have a great following and I think it would be a perfect jumping point for the movement.
Just so we are clear, im not a crackpot and I am not proposing that we start a war with the government. I am merely suggesting that we organize, as citizens, in such a manner as to influence or leaders to run the country the way we would like it ran. We can do all of this in a peaceful and professional way. Lets turn this ship-sailing for China around and regain control of our crumbling country. I am volunteer #1, who is with me?
